For the grown-up watching with the child
Calcium is introduced as part of a team: vitamin D helps its absorption, while food variety and suitable movement also play a part in caring for the body. The tower is a comparison, not an anatomical model. A drink’s white colour does not reveal its calcium content. The activity uses drawing, with no tasting, doses or supplement recommendations. The detailed guide includes NIH and NHS sources and respects each child’s individual needs.
After the story
With a grown-up, draw one food and one favourite active game. Add a question mark for something you would like to discover together. No tasting or exercise is needed.
