Language, narration and subtitles

Open Parents → Languages. Set the app language and video audio separately. “Follow app language” uses the current Greek or English interface. In Parents → Subtitles choose one of 13 languages or Off. Each narration uses its own picture-and-audio edition; English is not played over the Greek timeline.

Four preinstalled episodes

iOS 1.4.2 includes Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron and Zinc in Greek and English, with 13 subtitle languages. They play offline from the first use. If a playlist exceeds your chosen time limit, increase the limit in the parent area or shorten the playlist.

Five short stories with ten recordings are also included. If a recording cannot be used, the app identifies that it is using an available device voice.

Switch episodes — new iOS 1.4.3

In 1.4.3 the offline library holds up to four different episodes. Both narrations of the same episode use one slot.

1. After installing the update, open the parent area and choose The library → Check for new episodes.
2. In Offline viewing, check the slot counter. If it shows 4/4, choose Remove episode for one installed episode.
3. For episode five choose Download Greek + English. The total size is shown before confirmation. Wi-Fi only is enabled by default.
4. Keep the app open in the parent area until both narrations finish downloading and pass verification. Only then is the episode available offline, with its embedded subtitles.

To bring back one of the four original episodes, free a slot if necessary and choose Restore offline. A bundled episode does not require another download.

Removing a preinstalled episode frees a slot and removes it from the active offline library. It does not reduce the app’s installation size. Removing an additional download deletes that episode’s local videos.

If a download fails

Check Wi-Fi and free device storage. Leaving the parent area, backgrounding the app or the parent session expiring cancels an unfinished download. In 1.4.3 the new download is not marked available unless both narrations complete successfully. Other active episodes remain available. You can restore a bundled episode offline and retry the download later.

Parent area and PIN

Initial setup and PIN recovery require Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. Keep the device passcode under the parent’s control. The app does not receive biometric data. If the device has no passcode, enable one in device settings before setting up the parent PIN. External links are available within the parent area.

Television and website

AirPlay requires a compatible television or Apple TV; usually both devices use the same Wi-Fi. A separate Apple TV app is not needed. Chromecast is not supported. Watching in a web browser uses the internet and is different from local app playback.
