The little droplets

Draw a model to explain an idea

Paper and coloured pencils. No liquids, detergents or real experiment are needed.

  1. In the first box, draw water and oil in two layers, as at the beginning of the story.
  2. In the second, draw little droplets with small helper marks around them.
  3. Explain what the colours represent. Which part is an observation, and which part is our explanation?

With a grown-up · The drawing is a model, not a measured experiment or a product recipe.
