Sikalias WhyLab · Episode 7
The little droplets
Draw a model to explain an idea
Paper and coloured pencils. No liquids, detergents or real experiment are needed.
- In the first box, draw water and oil in two layers, as at the beginning of the story.
- In the second, draw little droplets with small helper marks around them.
- Explain what the colours represent. Which part is an observation, and which part is our explanation?
Why do shaking and a suitable helper do different jobs?
With a grown-up · The drawing is a model, not a measured experiment or a product recipe.
