The food team
10 minutes together · with adult supervision
After the iron episode, make a drawing and think of a new question together.
Materials
Paper and pencils or markers. No food or utensils are needed.
- Turn off the screen and remember together why Pico’s cooking pot was not food. Use drawings only, rather than metal objects.
- Draw two foods from the episode together, such as lentils and a pepper.
- Invite your child to explain what surprised them and what Pico learned.
- Add a question you would like to explore next time.
- The drawing is a conversation prompt; it does not measure iron content and is not a meal plan.
Which idea did you change after learning something new?
